Optimate is a steadily growing digital start-up (spin-off of the high-tech company TRUMPF) from the field of mechanical engineering. After our foundation in 2020, we specialized in the digital optimization of sheet metal parts using artificial intelligence. As a still quite young team, we are looking for someone for whom work is more than just a job and colleagues. Together with you, we want to rethink the design of parts and bring it into the digital age.

Your tasks

• You will support us in the design, conception and implementation of our digital, scalable services for sheet metal design
• In doing so, you will participate in the holistic product development process and also actively take care of customer requirements and requirements engineering
• You will actively participate in architecture discussions and help implement them
• You work in the data and cloud environment and contribute to the stability of our services

Your profile

• You can understand customer requirements and derive them into technical requirements
• You are communicative and can abstract problems well
• You have a very good knowledge of Python and Docker
• You are experienced in methods and principles like TDD, DevOps, CI/CD, Pair Programming
• You have a good knowledge of cloud environments and Infrastructure as Code, preferably AWS and Terraform
• Good knowledge of linear algebra and computer graphics is an advantage
